the process

My goal for Curate|Supply was to accomplish a main design for Leader1354 or to gain experience that would benefit my own clothing line. To start my adventure I did a lot of research via Interviews with Leaders to find background information about the founder, the inspiration and moral. Beyond that i also visited different Blog sites about fashion. While doing research i notice that Leaders didn’t have a great variety for women. Thats when i discovered what my next move would be . I thought it would be clever to come up with a girls only fashion line for Leader. In the process I planned to the clothing line colorful and trendy. I chose those main points because the audience was females who could relate to me in age.  Once i figured out a basic layout & understanding of what Leader1354 is and what i wanted to accomplish, i then began to put my ideas in action. Throughout this process i did accomplish my goal of gaining different experiences. I learned things such as how to sew, making a full design using technology, how to find and download fonts using “Dafonts.com & 1001freefonts.com” and how to Heat Press Shirts. Visiting Leaders for the first time and getting to know the founder and ask questions personally was also was a great opportunity and helped out my leaders designs a lot. While at the actual store i got a chance to share my ideas with Corey the founder Leader who informed me reasons why his brand didn’t reach out to the women as much. While talking to him i lost confidence in making the girls design due to funding ect. from there i took a different direction that would inspire people to keep going i also used a girly type of way with colors so my entire design before didn’t go to waste. Although i went through a lot i had fun designing for Leaders
